If you’re looking for a wrinkle filler or acne scar remover that provides long lasting correction please contact us for more information about Bellafill. If you have used temporary wrinkle fillers or acne scar removers in the past, then you know that they are eventually absorbed by your body and require frequent repeat injections to maintain the results. This is definately not the case with Bellafill.
What is Bellafill?
Bellafill is an EXCELLENT filler choice than has been on the market in the US since 2007, but has been used in Canada and Europe for over 20 years with beautiful results for the treatment of nasolabial folds, check augmentations, brow lifts and jowl lines. This product is a non-synthetic collagen that, when injected, replaces collagen that hasbeen lost over time. Results are immediate, there is little to no down time, no reported swelling, as it does not attract water like HA, and minimal bruising, if any. Bellafill lasts 5 to 10 years!
Bellafill is the longest lasting FDA approved dermal fill on the market. Bellafill works by stimulating production of your own collagen to fill in lost volume. Because the collagen produced is living tissue, the effects of Bellafill® Clinical trails have demonstrated that Bellafill can last 5 years. Compared to products like Sculptra® and Voluma® which have been shown to last 2 years. More product may be required over the years as your face ages and additional injections will have an additive effect on your previous injections.
Bellafill® is a dermal filler for the correction of nasolabial folds and moderate to severe, atrophic, distensible facial acne scars on the cheek in patients over the age of 21 years. Bellafill® is Health Canada approved for the correction of facial wrinkles known as nasolabial folds or smile lines. The unique Bellafill® formula combines 80% purified bovine collagen with 20% polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microspheres.
The collagen immediately adds volume to the skin to lift and smooth away wrinkles or blemishes.
The PMMA microspheres form a matrix that supports production of endogenous collagen, which replaces the injected collagen over time.
This matrix provides the lasting support skin needs for wrinkle/acne scar correction which yields younger looking skin.

Why is Bellafill different than other dermal fillers?
Temporary injectable wrinkle fillers are made of different kinds of natural or synthetic materials that are broken down and eventually absorbed by your body. As a result, wrinkle correction is only temporary and you may need repeat injections several months after the initial treatment to maintain your wrinkle correction.
Bellafill is different from temporary injectable wrinkle fillers. The unique microspheres in Bellafill are not absorbed by the body and provide the support your skin needs for natural, long lasting results.
Why Choose Bellafill?
Long Lasting – Wrinkle correction with Bellafill improves over the course of several months and stands the test of time. 90% of Bellafill patients are satisfied with their long lasting wrinkle correction.
Natural, Elegant Feel – Bellafill is made with microsphere-enhanced collagen. Over time the collagen is absorbed and the microspheres provide the support your own skin needs for a nice, natural look and feel.
More Convenient – With Bellafill, you won’t have to keep coming back year after year for additional treatments to maintain your wrinkle correction.
Fewer Injections – Since Bellafill is the long lasting solution that requires fewer injections over time, you will have less experiences of discomfort associated with repeated filler injections.
Economical and Affordable – Bellafill is truly an investment in you! You will see the real value in money and time saved with Bellafill over temporary injectable wrinkle fillers.[/accordion]
Am I a Bellafill Candidate?
Good candidates are adult men or women who do not have any active acne, rashes, or infections near the injection site. Before the injection, the doctor will perform an allergy test; only those who are not allergic to bovine collagen can undergo injections. However, most other adults in good overall health can get dermal filler injections.[/accordion]
What Is The Procedure Like?
Before using Bellafill, your doctor will do an allergy test. Then once there are no allergies found the procedure typically requires about an hour in the doctor’s office. The injection itself takes ten to fifteen minutes, depending on the number of injection sites. First, a numbing cream is applied to minimize any discomfort. Then, through a very thin needle, the Bellafill solution is injected. The injection pattern and amount injected into each location depend on the goals of the procedure. Most patients require only one treatment session to achieve the desired results.[/accordion]
How Long Is The Recovery Time?
After the procedure patients can return to their normal daily routine immediately, with no downtime. Injectable dermal fillers are often known as ‘lunchtime facelifts’ because of the limited time required. For the first few days, patients should avoid rubbing or touching the treated area, which can cause the Bellafill to migrate out of place. The effects of the injection are seen immediately. Although in general the effects of dermal fillers are considered temporary, one advantage of Bellafill over similar products is that it is the only dermal filler to be considered permanent.
